Training & Education
Through training and education, we build the capacity of member programs, adjacent system partners, and larger community to respond more effectively and holistically to gender-based violence.
The Coalition Ending Gender Based Violence offers free training throughout the year for our membership organizations and groups. These are posted on the Events Calendar and announced in our quarterly newsletters.
Coalition staff are also available to provide training and technical assistance to any of your staff on any number of topics related to gender based violence! Find out other benefits of becoming a member!
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer set training packages?
We currently do not offer set curriculums or packages. Training and workshops are individualized, based on audience, requested topic/s, format (virtual or in-person), and other relevant factors.
What training fees do you charge?
Training fees are dependent on the agency/institution and audience. We are in the process of determining an equitable training fees schedule but it is currently set on a case by case basis. Training and technical assistance is free to membership organizations and groups.
What topics can you provide training on?
Our staff have expertise on most topics related to gender-based violence, particularly if they are within our specific issue areas. If we do not have the expertise in-house, we connect with and partner with those who do, in order to bring the most up to date and relevant information to our members, adjacent system partners, and general community.
