The following data is a snapshot of the pandemic’s impacts on survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence, their families and the organizations assisting them.
The methodology for this data, outlined at the end of the report, did not allow for disaggregation by race or other identities. However, we recognize that impacts of the pandemic on survivors of gender-based violence are greater for survivors in communities of color and that responses and resources should be allocated accordingly. Note that the results shown represent the numbers of organizations that identified these impacts, not the numbers of survivors who experienced them.
