The Coalition had the opportunity to participate in a City of Seattle funded workgroup that focused on identifying and making recommendations to expand community responses to domestic violence.
The Community Reponses to Domestic Violence (CRDV) workgroup brought together local domestic violence advocates, survivors, and policy experts with experience intervening in domestic violence outside of the criminal legal system.
After many months of work, the report Transformation is Possible” is now available! The report highlights how indispensable survivor-centered supports are to our region’s response to domestic violence as well as the need for durable funding streams that support community-owned efforts to prevent violence before it escalates, motivate change through healing and transformation and provide pathways for accountable relationships and communities.
