The 2017 King County Trans Resource and Referral Guide is an updated, comprehensive community tool for trans and gender nonconforming individuals, their families and local health and human service providers. We want YOU to know about the guide, check it out, and spread the word!
The Guide highlights trans-friendly services and resources with over sixteen categories including self-advocacy, housing, employment, legal aid, youth services, health providers, HIV/AIDS support and crisis support. The content of the Guide centers the needs of trans disabled and trans people of color. It indicates accessibility and cultural competency with icon keys, and includes specialized resource sections for both. The Guide was lovingly crafted by an all-trans work group as a gift to our community.
A deep and resounding THANK YOU to our spectacular work group members, supporters, collaborators, artists, and designers. We did it!! Thank you to Adrián Neri Reyes, Ayom Ament, Danni Askini, Elayne Wylie, Emmett Stanfield, Frances Lee, Genesis Ellis, Kimberley Louis, Jade Vogelsang, Jes Noparat, Jesse Benet, Jessica Rosas, Kiyomi Fujikawa, The Logical Alternative, Luis Fernando Ramirez Limon, Naomi Stein, Raychelle Duazo, Ryan Diaz, Sid Jordan, and Tash Hansen-Day.
