I’m beyond excited to share this resource with you, as we enter Seattle’s week of Pride events: The 2017 King County Trans Resource and Referral Guide is an updated, comprehensive community tool for trans and gender nonconforming individuals, their families and local health and human service providers. It is here for you.
This labor of love highlights trans-friendly services and resources in over 16 categories including self-advocacy, housing, employment, legal aid, youth services, health providers, HIV/AIDS support and crisis support. The content of the Guide centers the needs of trans disabled and trans people of color, indicating accessibility and cultural competency with icon keys, and includes specialized resource sections sections for both.
The Guide was lovingly crafted by an all-trans work group as a gift to our communities. Please take a look, and share widely.

The 2017 Guide is an update to the 2014 King County Trans* Resource and Referral Guide, a collaboration between the Coalition Ending Gender-Based Violence and the Northwest Network of Bi, Trans, Lesbian and Gay Survivors of Abuse, as part of the LGBTQ Access Project.
