Reflections on our 2023 Celebration of Change
We were thrilled to have an overflow crowd at this year’s Celebration of Change.
Over 150 people turned up at Mt. Baker Community Club and on our Facebook livestream to celebrate the Coalition’s 2022 accomplishments, the impact Merril has made in our community, and the passing of a rubber chicken and aardvark to our new Co-Executive Directors, Lea Aromin and Amarinthia Torres.
In addition to having so much fun, we made our match! We couldn’t have possibly done it without you.
Thank you to all of you who were able to join us for the overwhelming support and making it a night to remember. If you weren’t able to make it out last week, check out our photo gallery and our livestream on our Facebook Page!
If you are inspired by Merril’s impact and want to make a gift in recognition of Merril’s lasting legacy and to support the future of the Coalition, there’s still time to give directly.
Cheers to 24 years of leadership, celebrating of exciting transitions, and continuing to dismantle systems that perpetuate gender-based violence. The future looks bright when we’re working together towards a safe and just future where everyone can thrive!
