
We are thrilled to share that the Coalition has received funding to revive and update the ever-popular King County Trans Resource and Referral Guide (TRRG)!
First developed in 2015 and last revised in 2017, the goal of this project is to ensure that the trans community has access to accurate local resources created ‘by and for’ them and to improve the community safety net in King County for trans people, their families, and communities. Whether trans folks are new to the area, seeking refuge here in King County from other states, newly out, or just want to explore what resources are available to them in their local community, the hope is this guide can be a helpful starting place! We can’t wait to get to work updating it and sharing it far and wide with our beloved trans community here in King County.
First things first – we are hiring for a Project Coordinator to lead this work! This is a part-time contract position will lead the collaborative development, production, and update of the King County Trans Resource & Referral Guide. This position will recruit and coordinate a community advisory group, establishes partnerships with community organizations, and oversees the writing, design, and dissemination of a print and web-based resource guide.
