This workshop is designed for experienced interpreters. During this session, we will explore the concept of trauma and its impact on individuals. Specifically, we will examine traumas that are unique to the Deaf community and the interpreter’s responsibility in handling such situations with care. Additionally, we will delve into the fundamental principles of trauma-informed care and apply our understanding through various case studies.
