Co-hosted by the Coalition Ending Gender-Based Violence, API CHAYA, and Langston

LOCATION CHANGE! We’ll be hosted by Langston at the Langston Hughes Performing Arts Institute! See address on flyer.
WHAT: We’ll be gathering for a day of Rest, Relationship Building, and Rejuvenation!
Capacity Building and Principled Struggle As Strategies Against Scarcity:
As we continue our work to prevent ongoing sexual and domestic violence, we want to make space for a little bit of community care and preparation! This retreat is a two-fold opportunity; One, to build relationships, rest, and rejuvenation practices with other prevention folks, and two, do some mapping of the landscape of prevention programs in the region and strategizing on how we can collaborate effectively.
“We never know how our small activities will affect other through the invisible fabric of our connectedness. In this exquisitely connected world, it’s never a question of ‘critical mass.’ It’s always about critical connections.” – Grace Lee Boggs
