FIFA World Cup 2026 is being held in Seattle, WA this summer.
During mega events such as these, communities often see an increase in gender-based violence such as sexual assault, trafficking, exploitation, and abuse. As a result, existing response systems for victims and survivors can become strained and capacity to respond to the harm, reduced.
It’s very hard to know what to expect and what the impact on survivors and local programs will be. So, we are offering a space to chat about it! Join us to connect with other providers, share notes, reflect and plan together before the next game day on June 19th.
