Required training to access King County’s Centralized Diversion Funds. Please Note: both days are required; the first day is virtual and the second day is in person.
In this hands-on practice guided by experienced Coaches, participants will build their skills in facilitating Diversion/housing problem-solving conversations, a trauma-informed, person-centered approach focused on immediate resolution to a housing crisis. Diversion offers flexible, light-touch services that may be coupled with minimal financial assistance that results in a temporary or permanent housing arrangement outside of the homeless system.
This training is intensive, intended for folks newly getting introduced to Diversion or needing an in-depth refresher. Although it is via Zoom, active participation will be expected!
All participants who complete the training will be certified to access King County’s Centralized Diversion Funds.
