Please welcome enthusiastic Coalition member and friendly Project Coordinator Monte Jewell to our Coalition team. Monte lives happily in Seattle with spouse Mary Ellen Carter — a special education teacher — and two cats, Agatha and Uncle Bernie. Monte enjoys coffee with friends, reading and using free and open source code for gender justice projects. Since 1994, Monte has worked professionally in multiple capacities on behalf of survivors of gender-based violence in Montana, California and now Washington. Over the next seven months, Monte will help the Coalition finalize the Family Law Toolkits, complete other remaining activities of the Domestic Violence and Mental Health Collaboration Project, and participate in related community-centered gender justice efforts. You can reach Monte at firstname.lastname@example.org or say hello to him in person at our annual meeting or at the Coalition office.
