This training is required annually for DVCHAP members who intend to submit referrals for DVCHAP housing resources. \n\n\n\nThe Domestic Violence Coordinated Housing Access Point (DVCHAP) system is a DV-specific housing resource system parallel to King County’s Coordinated Entry for All. DESCRIPTION:Prevention seeks to address the root causes of violence at the individual\, relationship\, community\, and societal levels. As the field and movement continues to grow and evolve\, more and more focus is being put on community-level prevention strategies.  \n\n\n\nBut what does community-level violence prevention work actually look like in practice? What does it mean to prevent violence through strengthening economic supports or creating protective environments? What does it mean to promote social norms that protect against violence? What do these strategies look like in real life?
