SUMMARY:TJ Cohort | Session 3
DESCRIPTION:Our intention is to continue building practices and systems that prevent gender-based violence\, and go upstream to find our solutions! We’ll spend some time building relationships in a low pressure\, but impact focused environment where we practice the liberation we want to see – norms of care and consideration in our relationships and systems. Our central question in this cohort is – what does Justice for survivors and those we’ve lost look like?\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe look forward to answering that question with you!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWHO: This meeting is open to prevention educators\, community organizers\, your preventionist aunties\, and other providers from adjacent systems interested in this intersection. \n\n\n\nRegistration Required..Accommodations: ASL interpreters available upon request.WHY: Not every survivor can be served well by “main stream” systems. We want to ensure that our analysis and practices account for criminalized survivors\, immigrant survivors\, trafficking survivors\, disabled survivors\, sex workers\, and other populations often underserved or intentionally disenfranchised. It’s beyond time that we look at the limitations of carceral feminism\, and invest in community-based strategies that prevent harm instead of over-resourcing response. \n\n\n\nWHAT: Once a month we’ll gather to learn how we can plug in to work that addresses root causes of gender based violence in our communities. We’ll talk about what harm looks like in community and systems and practices and conditions we want to build… \n\n\n\n“The existing criminal justice model poses two main questions in the face of social harm: Who did it? How can we punish them? (And increasingly\, how can we make money from it?). Creating safe and healthy communities requires a different set of questions: Who was harmed? How can we facilitate healing? How can we prevent such harm in the future?”–S. Lamble

SUMMARY:FIFA 2026: Post Game One Reflections
DESCRIPTION:FIFA World Cup 2026 is being held in Seattle\, WA this summer. \n\n\n\nDuring mega events such as these\, communities often see an increase in gender-based violence such as sexual assault\, trafficking\, exploitation\, and abuse. As a result\, existing response systems for victims and survivors can become strained and capacity to respond to the harm\, reduced. \n\n\n\nIt’s very hard to know what to expect and what the impact on survivors and local programs will be. So\, we are offering a space to chat about it! Join us to connect with other providers\, share notes\, reflect and plan together before the next game day on June 19th. \n\n\n\nFor questions and/or accommodations\, contact lea@endgv.org

SUMMARY:Frequency of Care: 2026 King County Trans Resource and Referral Guide Launch Party
DESCRIPTION:We are excited to invite you to Frequency of Care\, the official launch celebration for the 2026 King County Trans Resource & Referral Guide\, taking place on June 20\, 2026\, at KEXP Gathering Space. \n\n\n\nOver the past year\, community members\, service providers\, advocates\, artists\, and organizations from across King County have come together to help shape this guide. What emerged is more than a reflection of the relationships\, knowledge\, and systems of care that sustain trans and gender-diverse communities every day. \n\n\n\nAt a time when transgender communities are facing increasing barriers to healthcare\, housing\, safety\, legal support\, and basic needs\, access to trusted information and community connections has never been more important. This guide exists because of the collective efforts of people and organizations who continue to show up for our communities. \n\n\n\nFrequency of Care is an opportunity to celebrate that work together. \n\n\n\nThe evening will feature live performances by trans artists\, interactive storytelling\, community activations\, food and beverages\, and opportunities to connect with the many community members\, & organizations helping make care possible throughout our region. \n\n\n\nMost importantly\, this event is a chance to honor the collective network of care represented in these pages and to recognize the people behind the resources. \n\n\n\nWe hope you will join us in celebrating this milestone and the shared commitment to ensuring trans communities have access to the support\, services\, and connections they deserve.

SUMMARY:The Ecology of Resilience
DESCRIPTION:This three-day training is designed for gender-based violence (GBV) preventionists and advocates seeking to deepen their understanding of the connections between systemic oppression\, interpersonal violence\, and prevention sustainability. Through a combination of virtual learning sessions and an immersive in-person experience\, participants will explore how violence operates across multiple levels of society and how these dynamics influence both survivors and prevention work. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLOCATION: Days 1 and 2 will be via Zoom – link will be sent to registered participants prior to our first session. Day 3 will be in person at Tukwila Community Center\, 12424 42nd Ave S\, Tukwila\, WA 98168 \n\n\n\nWHO: This meeting is open to advocates\, prevention educators\, therapists\, community organizers\, your preventionist aunties\, and other providers from adjacent systems interested in this intersection. \n\n\n\n\n\nDay 1: Zoom\, 11am – 2:00pm | Understanding Systems-Level Violence\nFocuses on systems-level violence and oppression\, examining how historical and contemporary inequities\, structural violence\, and social conditions contribute to and shape interpersonal violence\, as well as influence the ways survivors are supported\, served\, and responded to within community systems and institutions. Participants will explore how broader social\, political\, and organizational contexts impact survivor experiences and access to safety\, healing\, and resources. \n\n\n\n\nDay 2: Zoom\, 11am – 2:00pm | How Oppression\, Trauma\, and Survival Live In The Body\nExplores the impacts of these systems on individuals\, including how trauma\, oppression\, and survival experiences are embodied and influence survivor and provider well-being and relationships. Participants will also examine the power of collective healing and connection as protective factors\, recognizing how resilience is strengthened through community\, shared meaning-making\, and mutual support. The session highlights how fostering belonging and collective care can support individual wellness while strengthening the sustainability and impact of prevention efforts. \n\n\n\n\nDay 3: In Person\, 10am – 4:00pm | Experiential Learning… \nIs a full-day experiential workshop that integrates learning from the previous sessions. Participants will engage in reflective and interactive activities designed to strengthen practices of collective resilience\, support holistic survivor-centered prevention approaches\, and cultivate practices that promote personal and organizational sustainability in GBV prevention work.

SUMMARY:Rural and Interfamilial Trafficking Virtual Training Event
DESCRIPTION:There is an increased public awareness around the prevalence\, impact and salience of sex trafficking\, human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation. When allegations of trafficking and exploitation are made known to law enforcement and social services\, the forensic interview process can be an effective tool for gathering victim statements and assessing what has occurred. This training will discuss the specifics of working with victims of trafficking and exploitation and offer guidance for conducting forensic interviews with this population. Moving cases from the investigation stage to prosecution is particularly difficult in the context of human trafficking\, and successful human trafficking investigations require a unique approach. This workshop also addresses potential avenues of corroboration\, technology-facilitated human trafficking\, proactive strategies\, and investigative resources. SUMMARY:TJ Cohort | Session 4
Lamble
