The Domestic Violence and Mental Health Collaboration Project

Part of our Behavioral Health work

A multi-year multi-disciplinary collaboration to make services more accessible, holistic, and effective for survivors of domestic violence with mental health concerns within the domestic violence, mental health, and family law systems.

Initially funded by the Department of Justice’s Office of Violence Against Women, the Domestic Violence and Mental Health Collaboration Project rolled out in five phases, between 2007-2017.

Its purpose was to facilitate sustainable systems change within and among partner organizations to better meet the needs of survivors of domestic violence who are also experiencing mental health concerns.
